Changes to ShopCanadianStuff.ca to Focus only on Products Manufactured in Canada

We’ve made the decision at ShopCanadianStuff.ca to stop listing products designed in Canada but manufactured in other countries.

Our focus has always been on products manufactured in Canada and only a small number of listings will be impacted by this change.

There has been much debate over the past few months about what exactly constitutes buying Canadian and at ShopCanadianStuff.ca we will be narrowing our focus to helping people find and buy things manufactured in Canada, supporting Canadian production workers and the Canadian businesses most impacted by tariffs.

One single exception to this change will be that we will continue to list Support-Ukraine.ca which sells pro Ukraine and anti-Putin merchandise designed in Canada with 100% of profits going towards aid in Ukraine.

A number of the sites listed in our links section at ShopCanadianStuff.ca/links include listings of companies designing in Canada but manufacturing elsewhere if users are still looking for this type of information.

ShopCanadianStuff.ca will remain focused primarily on online shopping, providing links to buy products directly from producers and retailers, which overall is not as focused on agricultural products grown in Canada, but to be clear, foods grown in Canada will remain eligible for listing even if they aren’t technically manufactured.
