Somehow Halloween is just around the corner, meaning now is the time to start looking for Canadian manufactured treats to hand out. We’ve compiled a list of Canadian manufactured items suitable for giving out at Halloween, which won’t include more expensive Canadian specialty candies though you could find many of them by searching from the main page of ShopCanadianStuff.ca with keywords like candy or chocolate.
All links below lead either to the product’s retail listing if we only found one or to the product listing on ShopCanadianStuff.ca where multiple links are provided. More links will be added and potentially more products if they are confirmed as Canadian manufactured before Halloween.
Canadian manufactured chocolates
Laura Secord has several made in Canada Halloween items, like the Milk Chocolate Crispy Halloween Wafers, Milk Chocolate & Caramel Bites, Milk Chocolate Eyeballs, Spider Eggs and Milk Chocolate crispy pumpkins. Laura Secord also has a few Halloween items that are marked on their website as imported, like the Milk Chocolate Halloween Pop.
Cadbury’s Caramillk, Wunderbar, Mr Big, and Crispy Crunch are sold in Halloween boxes marked as prepared in Canada.
Cadbury’s Dairy Milk, Dairy Milk Mini Eggs, Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut, Cadbury Dairy Milk Hazelnut, variety pack of 45 mini bars, are not marked as imported, they may have insufficient Canadian content to be labelled as either prepared in Canada or made in Canada.

Mars bars both full size and mini are marked as prepared in Canada, (Snickers, M&Ms and Twix bars are marked as imported so the combo package are expected to be imported).
Nestle Multipacks featuring Smarties, Aero, Coffee Crisp and Kit Kat (boxes of 100, 50 and 25 are clearly marked as prepared in Canada) (Note I have seen Halloween themed boxes of only Kit Kats marked as imported but the non-Halloween themed boxes of only small KitKats are marked as Prepared in Canada).
